Christie Hospital, Manchester.

Whoo  hoo,  I’ve just got on the Christie Hospital Beauty Consultant Volunteers  Rota .  I will be working as a Freelance Make Up Artist and helping ladies who are undergoing Chemotherapy treatment.  Its so rewarding to give a little  back to a hospital that I owe so much to.  It’s a great sense of achievement  to know that you are  helping  ladies who’s spirits may need a little lift and bring some joy into their day and a welcome distraction from the Chemo regime.    Being a Beauty Consultant volunteer means you carry out demonstrations and help ladies to  apply make up in a stunning way.  The make up is supplied by  Clinique and Lancome. “God bless em”.   The products are lovely and especially  kind to skin that that needs a little t.l.c.  Its very humbling to be a part this  service and such a joy to spend time with these courageous women.   Spread the joy.

just wait till I get my paws on you.

Let Me Paint Your Face was going at full throttle today at Princess Street, Stockport.  In celebration of their first year of business, Cash Converters were joined by myself, local radio and a big yellow cat, who’s name escapes me momentarily.   I painted hundred’s of children’ s faces through out the day.  Well it felt like hundreds anyway! Vroooom, I motored on through them all and had astonishing time. All the staff were lovely to and kept me well supplied with copious amounts of tea, all day. Well I’ve had my fun. Now it’s straight to bed EEE-Heee.

Check out the Big Yellow Pussy Cat!

The Muppets

Let Me Paint Your Face became part of the new Muppet Movie today. We created all of the beloved muppet characters for children attending the first screening of the film  at,  The Printworks, Odeon, Manchester.  Balloon  Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzie, Miss Piggy and Animal were given out to the children. They went in to the auditorium  with shameless ear to ear grins.  What a fun time we all had, it was brilliant.
